When India’s name kept coming up in foreign interference discussions around the time this happened I had my suspicions. But it’s pretty wild to see them confirmed. I wonder what the fallout will be?

Remember when Saudi Arabia recalled all their citizens from Canada because they threw a hissy fit? India has a very proud government and culture right now.

“Any involvement of a foreign government in the killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil is an unacceptable violation of our sovereignty. It is contrary to the fundamental rules by which free, open, and democratic societies conduct themselves,” Trudeau said.

    Uh…

    free, open, and democratic societies

    India free, open, and democratic?

    Hahaha!

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is accusing the government of India of being behind a fatal shooting on Canadian soil.

Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead outside of a Sikh temple in Surrey, BC, on June 18.

Trudeau is expected to rise in the House of Commons today to accuse the Indian government of being involved in the killing.

This is a breaking news story.

    More to come…

Honestly, not knowing anything about Indian politics but what the BBC puts out, I wouldn’t put it past the BJP.
