An EU ride sharing app that’s headquartered in Estonia.
Or you could just use your local taxi service which doesn’t have gig-economy shenanigans attached.
Best option: avoid taxis and ride shares like the plague and use transit as often as you can
True, I always opt for the bus when I can (it’s so much cheaper and less awkward).
Local taxi services can be a bit scammy on their own
I agree, especially if you’re a tourist in a foreign country and you don’t speak the language
Somehow taxis in Arnhem cost €40 for a 15 minute drive, I’ll use a deelfiets (it’s better for the environment, too)
Lol. There’s no taxi service anymore. At least in Bucharest most taxi drivers moved to uber/bolt and the remaining “traditional” taxi companies are unreliable.
Can’t speak for everyone, but my local ones are pretty reliable. One even has its own app that lets you call a taxi like Uber.
We have that in Romania too. In fact we had them years before uber came… But now they’re dying.
is blablacar an eu company? They rock for ridesharing big trips.
Yes french
