I saw The Cramps live sometime in the mid '80s and it was probably the wildest gig I’ve ever been to. The mosh pit was pretty much a mass brawl and people were being dragged out unconscious. I came across someone slumped in a corner with blood running down his face and asked him if he was OK. “I’m fine mate,” he said “this is nothing. Last time I saw them I got a broken arm”.
