I mean, some of those things are just because online recipes are usually shit. You can pretty much always use a spice blend instead of salt and pepper, you can always add Chile powder at any concentration you desire, and you should always double the garlic (at least). Granted, some of this is because most recipes are written by AI nowadays.

Android@lemdro.id•Android 16's new 90:10 split-screen is a game-changer for multitaskingEnglish
3·8 months agoThe new trick is that when you tap on the bottom 10%, it’ll make that app take up 90%, and the app you were just in will be downsized to the remaining 10%. As for why this is considered better than pressing the multitasking button twice, I have no idea. I’ve honestly never enjoyed the split screen feature on my phone, but I multitask a lot.
Engineers need to stay busy I guess, even if every feature a phone needs has been implemented.
And MinusJs depends on AngularJs and VueJs for some reason, but that’s just the cost of doing business!

2·8 months agoThey list F1 as entirely on IMAX digital, but that’s not true because it will include footage filmed during actual F1 races onboard. They’re the highest resolution cameras used in a car to date, but they’re not IMAX. So it looks like the term “entirely” can be flexible.
Because Mozilla is the master of bad ideas and most open source projects are leaving github, not joining it.

As a former student who tried to stay on top of the absurd logistics of making use of my premium license, it sucks. Once a year you have to dig up your old account credentials, and it’s always when you’re in the middle of a high stakes project. Worrying about licensing sucks, even when someone else is paying for it.
Unironically, this is a very cool tool as an import profiler.

18·9 months agoSounds like this man dramatically underestimates how deep their codebase goes. Maybe 30% of what they write right now is written by AI,but I’d be shocked if 0.5% of Microsoft’s code is written by AI.

Super weird, yeah. Both the upper and lower ends have some slope, so it’s not just “ghost points”. Thr points are connected in a contour, so the data really is going back in time, then reaching new values.
It gets weirder the more I try to solve it.
Almost certainly, they’re counting on their “audits” consisting of a script that looks for “$500 per week” in the descriotion to confirm that they’re posting ads.

Don’t worry, he’s probably being disingenuous and likely has ulterior motives.
Actually, since ICE isn’t sending people to trial, they might be lowering the US statistic lol.
So not only are you safer from getting arrested in Iran, but you’re more likely to receive a trial.
I always go with password2 cuz everyone throws a fit about password1 being insecure.

I think the real answer is that Tom Cruise is funneling a shit load of production money to himself. Why else would you be director, producer, and lead actor in a movie?
Kind of amazing anyone backed it for any amount of money, the last one was miserably bad.
