It only fixes when I close the game and open it again.7·21 hours agoJust got the bug to appear again. Plasma monitor shows 8.1/15.4GB of ram being used, but nvtop shows 100% GPU memory being used.

command doesn’t work, I’ll see what I can do about the vram usage.

Sorry for that, I ran fastfetch when I wasn’t playing, but I always play using the charger. My laptop decreases it’s performance when on battery, but it doesn’t wait for low battery to decrease, it’s instantaneous.

abobla@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•I tried Debian, I tried Fedora for my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro RTX3060: Framerate issues, stuttering in browsers, stuttering in simple 3D programs4·6 days agoThat’s odd, I remember using Debian 12 without this issue when it was released, I later switched to an Arch based distro (Endeavour OS) to experiment with how it would run games (they ran better, I think some games were freezing on Debian 12 stable).
I can’t say anything about Fedora, never used it.
Do you have more information about the specific driver you installed on Debian 12 and Fedora 42? Like the version number? Maybe the neofetch result of your computer specs too.
