Tbh my place just doesn’t really get much sun if any at all. I specifically got plants which are OK with some shade, but I have too much shade everywhere.
I grow basil in my bedroom before it’s warm enough to survive outside. A 100w equivalent led bulb has been enough to light up a couple square feet of room to grow.
Bonus: if you put it somewhere near your eyeline you’ll notice when they start wilting and need water

Then you could try getting a growth light and a timer
