We’ve always taken a fairly practical stance on our kid cursing. They have to learn when not to curse, and how to remember to limit their language, so there’s a no cursing rule that’s enforced by pointing and calling them noob, which is an in joke for the family. Then they have to either drop a dollar in the swear jar (which can be used for school supplies only), or drop and give me twenty push or sit ups (their choice).
But, pussy isn’t on the list any more. There was a convincing argument that anyone who has one of them should be exempt, and that it no longer has the same “bad” context in that it has been shifting to a casual slang term more than an outright “dirty” word.
