minus-squareHellfire103linkfedilinkEnglish19•edit-24 months agoSome videos already have basic DRM; mainly music videos. However, yt-dlp, Piped, and NewPipe can play them just fine. When a platform is as second-to-none as YouTube, people will always find a way to use it the way they want.
At this point I won’t be surprised if they add DRM on the whole site.
