I personally loved the N64 style. Psx, on the other hand, was a bit rough.
This is more Saturn, but yeah, they were all rough and ugly pioneers.
The Saturn never really reached enough sales where I’d consider it mainstream enough to mention it.
It was huge in Japan.
Still got its ass kicked by the PS1, but who didn’t.
I love it. Low poly and horror really belong together in my mind. Probably for similar reasons as your own
