In Hong Kong, a court has found 14 out of 16 activists and politicians guilty of subversion under the Beijing-imposed national security law.

This marks the largest trial since the law’s implementation in 2020. The group was charged over a 2020 primary election intended to choose candidates for a Legislative Council election.
