He is simply stating that he (Biden) supports abortion rights and that’s probably aimed at the tiny percent of Fox News watchers that might actually support rights - specifically Republican women, I would guess. There are some (a small number, but still some) Republicans who see that this latest push by their own party against abortion is a bridge too far.
