No, they are absolutely not the biggest, unless you’re talking about classic liberalism instead of something like the Democratic Party. The messaging of the GOP and right in the US is far more opposed to solidarity than anything else.
There is far more participation in unions in Blue states. Union members are also more likely to be Democratic voters.
That said, the Democratic Party doesn’t push working class solidarity either, they’re just not as openly opposed to it.
The white conservatives aren’t friends of the Negro either, but they at least don’t try to hide it. I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negroes’ great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s “Counciler” or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can’t agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically feels that he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a “more convenient season.”

Yeah, I agree with that. But you can’t get any more solidarity with the wolves, that’s my point. There’s no reason to be hyperbolic about it since it just pushes people further away from realizing the points of these two men.
