They’re never going to accept a ceasefire deal with out… motivation to do so.
That’s going to have to start with blocking all aid, and probably sanctions.
Seriously. Netanyahu wants this genocide. He wants war with Lebanon/hezbolla and ultimately Iran. And no, he doesn’t really give a fuck what else gets destabilized because of it.
And who is going to motivate them? If America really wanted an end to the carnage they would find a way.
Amazing. They’ve tried asking Israel nicely while sending them hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of weapons, and still Israel doesn’t stop? Better ask again while affirming unconditional support for Israel, coming down hard on anyone who criticizes it, and sending more bombs and missiles for them to use. Surely that will do the trick.
I’ve come to believe with strong conviction (rare for me as a skeptical person) that there is no redemption to be found in Washington, and that the American Congress would gladly see Beirut, Damascus, Amman, Tehran, Baghdad and countless other cities wiped off the map if it means continued Judeo-Christian self-glorification and strategic stranglehold over the region. The solution now and forever is for the region to make that too costly, and that can only happen if there is a viable alternative to American power in the region or self-reliance by the Arab states. Neither of which appear to be forthcoming in the next decade. Maybe after.

Netanyahu will do anything to hold onto power. Especially when all western nations support him unconditionally and no matter how much blood is on his hands.
Whaaaat!??
Netanyahu gonna Satanyahu
“Nah… we’d much rather steal more Lebanese land.”
The US: “well, Israel rejected another reasonable ceasefire proposal in favor of continuing to blow up innocents… guess we’ll have no choice but to offer them another go at it!
Oh yeah Bibi, here’s your missiles. Don’t use them to blow up civilians! wink”
