Lenovo and Dell both make DisplayLink dock

yes and the other ones are not displaylink

its connected in hdmi port 1.

If you are using the Apple USB-C > HDMI, you should know it is oldAF any maxes out at 4k30hz

yes, but it should be able to do 1080p 60.

as you say, they should do at least 1080p 60, they dont. because its not the cable or the dock.
