Right now, all I see my vote as is a means to buy time before I can get my sis and I safely out of the country. Biden nor the Democratic party is going to fix any the problems in the country, or keep people like my sis safe, but he’s not actively trying to dismantle everything like the Republican party. I don’t think either of them belong in power, but because of the nature of our political system, we’re more likely to see it systematically dissolved than see it fixed. We’re just choosing the speed at which it happens at this point.
Attack infrastructure used by the police and polluting industries, join protest movements against mountain valley pipeline, cop city and many others, build dual power organizations, join a prisoner support organization, join food not bombs, organize your workplace into a union, support and work with black lives matter, organize with the many organizations that help immigrants, knowing any skills you have I could get more specific there is plenty you could be doing to actually help radically transform society.
Is he sending the Palestinians to hell slower, the Yemenis the afghans, the migrants at the border, the black people murdered by police violence. Hell, DeSantis just gave the state guard full of college volunteers and disabled ex-Marine veterans 90 mil in military vehicles and guns— and changed their program into a forced boot camp where they punished dissenters— so they could be ordered to invade other states as a militia.
