i know I’m old when people have to explain who Godzilla is
I’m hoping they did that so it’s not confused with the American Godzilla movies.
Shin Godzilla is one of my favourite movies of all time. If they can get even close to it I’ll be so thrilled.
Agreed! Probably the best social/political commentary since the original film. It was also fairly funny while managing to make Godzilla legitimately scary again for the first time in a VERY long time. I haven’t seen Anno’s follow up film Shin Ultraman because I’m not familiar with the source material really but I do plan on watching it eventually
