I don’t know what I would do first, but I would only keep what I need to get old without financial worries - and yes, I’d waste a bit for silly nonsense and tech. I’d buy myself a litte patch of land and a tiny home or something and I would use the rest to run reforestation and habitat conservation projects, making personally sure the money doesn’t end up in greedy pockets and actually brings back rainforest, coral reefs and some nature. I hate to see the world slowly being turned into a polluted wasteland. I’d be personally doing the dirtywork, educating people, getting in touch with scientists to figure out the best approaches, planting trees, etc. It would be a worthwhile task and a good life. But I’m a broken mess, I’ll probably never have a lot of money. And I’ll not be fundraising, because I don’t want public attention. I don’t want to play the media clown and people have been scammed too often, so there wouldn’t be much trust in my cause anyway, unless I’d go full transparency - which would cost me my entire privacy and that’s… unhealthy. I’d just put in the work behind the scenes, if I somehow got rich.
