the user https://sh.itjust.works/u/goat appears to be impersonating the mastodon user https://hellsite.site/@goat

same profile picture, name, however the sh.itjust.works user has decided to create a hate community, https://sh.itjust.works/c/meanwhileongrad as well as spreading misinformation about the lemmy developers.

I would normally just block and move on but I find it dangerous to allow someone to impersonate someone else on the fediverse (an admin too) and begin starting trouble.

Excellent riposte, sir. You deftly refuted all of my arguments, and didn’t at all resort to name-calling.

Actually I didn’t. You were the one that resorted to namecalling.

        their tankie behaviour

That you? Yeah it was. You made zero points and instead turned to slinging pejorative names because it’s not about facts or whats correct. You want to grind an axe against a percieved enemy. And will do what ever it takes to justify your actions. If you think pointing out your juvenile behavior is calling you a name. It only goes to illustrate further how juvenile your behavior is.

          I didn’t call you a tankie, I called OP a tankie.

Regardless, my point was that OP is complaining about impersonation, yet nobody appears to have actually been mislead by it. OP appears to be complaining about it purely because they object to some other behaviour. Seems a bit disingenuous, no? You want to respond to that? Or you’re just going to continue doing mental gymnastics to convince yourself that calling someone a 12 year old isn’t name-calling?
