I feel sick reading this article. “Trans people are so privileged in society, we need to protect everyone from them” meanwhile we suffer rape assault and murder rates far higher than for cisgender populations. The trans community lives with a constant fear of violence. This story isn’t even unique. It is heartbreaking, sickening and tragic. But it’s happened many times before.
