I don’t know anyone that would disagree with any of these things. The main problem is the amount of money the war machine is fed and the fallout of the promises made vs promises kept. Politicians are telling people what they want to hear while doing what they want. This is either side - and if you believe in sides then they have already won.
This both sides stuff is so disingenuous. One side is populated by centrists who generally want to mostly do the right thing, occasionally being cruddy because they’re too conservative to do the hard things to improve the world. The other side is populated by white supremacist terrorists. That isn’t the same.
Yes, while we are all preoccupied with “us vs them” they can do what they want. It’s been pretty even throughout the past decades of congress & president, but here we are blaming each other laying cover for them to work together and pass legislation for the highest bidder without any “news coverage” at all.
Decades ago we didn’t have a president with a cult following, who would not say nazis and white supremacists are bad because that’s so much of his fanbase.

If you live a life where you did not feel impacted in any way or witness others be impacted by trump and the social shift in your communities then that is just you being lucky. That does not mean both sides are the same. Look how different the Supreme Court has been since trump got to pack it with a rapist and someone not even qualified.

Well, we have a primarily centrist party that needs to oppose fascists. They don’t seem particularly interested in doing so.
