Does any of you know a good alternative to LinkedIn which is available all over Europe ?
In the past there was a French Alternative called Viadeo but it seems they were bought by another company and now the website is full of adds.

What functionality of linkedin in particular? The job searching? Or the CV?
More like the professional social network. Be in touch with colleagues and ex colleagues so I think it goes with the CV part. I’m not very interested by the job searching

Xing is made in Europe but by now also changed hands a few times.
Big social media will always end up in the hands of big corps. I personally just quit LinkedIn a few years ago because it brought me no value.
