There’s also NeoDB, which is also federated and self-hostable. Main issues iirc is most of the stuff already on there is in Chinese, so inaccessible for people that don’t speak it.
Has anything happened on the login with Lemmy front? I haven’t been following NeoDB development.

I often use German fernsehserien.de to find information about TV shows. Not sure how this page behaves without ad-blocker, but for me it is working perfectly fine.
