Companies are designing AI to appear increasingly human. That can mislead users—or worse.

Quick second thank you, I’ve used this five times since you’ve shared it with me, so useful.

@Varyk It really is life changing :D
Btw other life changing apps if you don’t know them are NewPipe from F-Droid and Fennec+uBlockOrigin also via F-Droid. No more ads on the smartphone.

Oh I’m all over newpipe, thanks.

        What’s fennec and ublock for?

@Varyk Ad blocking on the mobile internet. I haven’t seen an ad on my smartphone for years now.

Oh, thanks. The last corrupted bastion of ads on my phone was YouTube and then I found newpipe and never looked back. Oh but I just started using busuu and they play ads in between language lessons. Would it work for that? Or is fennec just for browsers?

@Varyk Hm maybe using a private DNS works, but no way to be sure: https://mullvad.net/en/help/dns-over-https-and-dns-over-tls/

Okay, got it thanks. So fennec is specifically for browsers?
