Hi everyone,

I’ve been away for a bit for personal reasons, but I’m back with some important updates for Mosaic WM.

First, the GNOME 51 branch has been officially merged. For those who haven’t updated the extension yet and are still on GNOME 50, I’ve created a specific tag to keep things working.

Regarding the core experience, the mosaic layout is now more stable and the system now prioritizes denser layouts. This means windows are more efficiently packed and concentrated in the available space, maximizing your screen real estate.

The most exciting addition, however, is a feature I’ve been working on: adaptive mini windows. Instead of using small, fixed-size windows, the interface now adapts to optimize screen real estate and provide a much better view of the content whenever possible.

This feature is now available for testing on the main branch. I’d love for you to try it out and let me know what you think!
