Las Vegas hotspots are waving the red flag at Formula One — claiming its executives are threatening to block views of the posh car race unless they fork over millions of dollars in fees.
Pay up or they’ll literally shine a light in your eyes.
As someone who lives in the UK can I just say having the olympics here was the worst thing this country has done for a long time.
They got proper draconian about the branding. In my town there was a taxi company called Olympic Cars. They were taken to court by the government to pay damages for a name they’d used since the 80’s.
And when the torch came through the town they closed off every road in the town for three days. The damn thing only took an hour to go past.
Anyway this was a bit of rant and I know it’s been 11 years but it still pisses me off.
So I sympathise with what the residents of Vegas are going through.
