I simply do not understand this bizarre impulse by grown (almost always Republican) men to translate “we don’t know and need some time to get to the bottom of it before we cause a total panic over 10% of the story” into “total lack of transparency by the government.” My most kneejerk response is it’s a distraction from their unpopular domestic policies they’re implementing at the state level and via SCOTUS.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has established a separate panel tasked with reviewing nonclassified data on UAP. The team plans to issue a report on its findings this summer.
