I just realized that last month was ADHD awareness month and I forgot. Ironic isn’t it? Share your stories of stuff you remembered way too late!

I only found out when I got an email from my local ADHD support organization…on October 26.

I just remembered a girl’s name that I used to work with.

I was trying to remember it about 3 months ago. It randomly just came to me today.

Ah that sucks, I personally went from ritalin to medikinet because of availability and I didn’t notice big difference, LP for both. Maybe that’s an option for you? (like really same effect at same dosage, maybe a little less longer but like concerta was tottaly different in comparison)

I’m an Elvanse (Vyvanse for Americans) user, unfortunately. I don’t tolerate Methylphenidate well (they made me try like four different versions of it first before they’d give me the Elvanse) and as far as I know there is a shortage on just about all Dexamphetamine based medications.

I was supposed to be at a course at 9, two hours away. Was reminded by outlook 8.45. Gee thanks Outlook, very helpful.

Worst part, is that you come off as lazy, a slack or stupid for forgetting something that neurotypical would never forget.

I don’t think Outlook allows for that but I think some calendar systems allow for several reminders for the same event (e.g. 1 week before, 1 day before, a couple of hours and 15 minutes). I haven’t used those kinds of systems in a while, I have a pretty uneventful life, but I remember using it some year ago
