Angry Call of Duty Fans Are Review-Bombing the Wrong Modern Warfare 3::Poor Modern Warfare 3. No, not the new one. The original one, from 2011. It’s getting review-bombed by angry Call of Duty fans who seem a bit confused about which Call of Duty is which.
I really wonder about the marketing departments of these things. Why repeat names, if the names already have numbers anyway???
Need for Speed does the same shit. And even Doom (2016) is called the same as Doom (1993)
Because it confuses the customer into thinking its a remake, when really they’re just capitalizing on the nostalgia of the name to sell copies
I stop caring about modern warfare about 5 years ago when it became apparent that they had even less artistic integrity than the FIFA games, so I haven’t really been keeping track.
So what’s this new game actually called is it literally just called Modern Warfare 3, again? Because if that’s the case it’s 100%, their fault.
That tells me all I need to know about the cod fanbase
The new MW3 steam reviews are locked until its official release, as is always the case. People are venting where it is both possible and making some sense.
The author likely is aware of this and just likes to poke fun at angry CoD fans.
Is this really not that obvious? Giving already used names like that is just bound to create confusion.
