As someone who had* a long haired, thick-coated cat who lost a lot of fur at all times, I used to think so as well, but I met my coworker’s cat who doesn’t lose fur practically at all, so I think it depends on your cat’s body.
- The cat is still alive and fine, but I cannot afford enough space for her to reside in nor even afford her food and so on, therefore she’s not with me.
