I always hear the argument about high-profile workers like actors and athletes that they shouldn’t be making $30 million a year or whatever because they’re not curing cancer or doing something else “worthwhile.” But the truth is that entertainment is generating that much money, so who better to benefit than the players, actors, and writers themselves? I’d personally rather Mandy Moore be rich than Bob Iger.
