I don’t understand why anyone would use piped bot’s links at all.
I’m on the boat where I think it’s better to use an addon or something to rewrite the URLS in your browser automatically rather than relying on a bot to do it. Firefox has “Redirector” plugin which can rewrite all youtube links to whatever invidious/piped/etc. instance you want.

I think it’s for awareness. I’ll never forget Piped exists now.
You setup the automatic redirector… You’ll forget youtube exists, since it works browser-wide… and will interpret ALL youtube links.
I know, and I use that. But on a IOS device I haven’t found a good way to do this
You can’t register urls with apps on IOS?
No, but there are no apps and iOS is locked down
