$50 is a bit high for a 14 year old game. It’s great that it’s on PC, but I think I will wait until there is a sale.

I am not a developer but I do sometimes recommend software to end users. Unity is dead to me. I will never recommend Unity to anyone for any reason.
Here are a few suggestions:
Volunteer at a soup kitchen or a food pantry
Sign up for a church email newsletter and go there when they are doing pot-luck meals (bring a dish to pass)
If you are into sports, sign up to volunteer as a coach.
Don’t buy all of your groceries all at one time. Buy a few things each time and go more often. Even if you don’t meet or talk to anyone but the workers, you will be around other people.
Do you have any Amazon add-ons (extensions) installed in Firefox? Did you, or someone who uses your computer, install any software recently?
If it is a Firefox add-on causing the issue and you have more than one that could be the culprit, start by disabling all of them. If that fixes the issue, then it is just a matter of enabling each add-on (one at a time) to discover which one is causing the issue. When you figure out which one it is, uninstall it.
I tend to get a new phone every other year. I bought a phone last year so I will probably be excited to see the Pixel 10 next year!
I love the concept, but how would this play out? Servers cost money to operate and maintain. And publishers aren’t interested in losing control of an IP or supporting them indefinitely.
So what is the goal here? Single player mode? Old school LAN partys?
While I will be the first person to admit that I don’t completely understand either, the concept is pretty simple.
Think of a digital recording being something like sheet music. Sheet music is a set of instructions on how to play a song that anyone who knows how to read music can reproduce.
Digital recordings work in a similar fashion. The playback device reads the instructions which include things like frequency and volume, and is able use that information to make a perfect playback of the digital recording.
Could it be recreated by random chance? Sure. Would it? Probably not. At least not easily.
Fun fact: a small amount of vinegar in the cooking water helps to keep potatoes from getting mushy.
I like my Crocs, but for me they are not a very good shoe for my feet.
I have one pair of Crocs that I bought last year. First thing I noticed was the textured footbed. It’s kinda spiky and not very comfortable to me. I have been amazed at all of the comfort claims due to this. You can and do get used to it, but the first couple of weeks is not comfortable at all.
Also, I’m a big guy and Crocs don’t offer much in the way of arch support. I have never had arch issues until I wore Crocs on a regular basis.
I also lose interest in certain things when asked about them. I try to continue anyway, but I am not always successful at doing that. There is a project I am currently working on that I am struggling to complete because of this.
For me it’s the anxiety of disappointing the other person. I would rather they are disappointed right now rather than make an effort and have them still disappointed.
As I have gotten older I have learned to mostly ignore the the anxious thoughts, because they are often not true, but they are always there and I am not always able to shake those feelings.
Talk with your doctor. It’s likely they can help you with this.
The biggest issue is Apple and their closed ecosystem. I can modify, remove, or disable most of the apps and settings I don’t like on an Android phone. I can even load a different OS if I want. With Apple most of that isn’t even possible.
If the extender has a different SSID, you can disable auto connect for that access point.
Exactly this! Very few people ever complain that the military is losing money. Healthcare should be the same way. It should operate at a loss.
Forming relationships are all about risk. If you know this much about her already it’s possible she already likes you!
Go for it!
Don’t threaten me with a good user experience.
I buy Samsung SSDs when I can afford them, Kingston when money is tight. Samsung is faster, especially their NVME drives. Both have been very reliable for me.
Unfortunately, this knuckle-dragger is not capable of admitting, perhaps even understanding, that he brought all of this on himself. Everything bad that happens to him is someone else’s fault. Everything good that happens was his idea.
These are used drives that have about 35K hours (4 years) of power on time.
Good quality drives to be sure, but maybe not as reliable now as they once were.
While OP’s post is not the sort of thing we normally see here, the sidebar does say “Anything and everything goes. Memes, Jokes, Vents and Banter.”
