Quilt cover?
I think there is a big difference between buy European and buy a crafted product.
Some people have money to buy unique, local, to support a cause another has invested their energy into. Others simply don’t or don’t consider it a value.
People are stretched. You can’t take this personal or it will affect your self value.
Is it privacy or reliability?
Needs to be - to what ransome are you willing to pay.
Of course companies have made it harder on service staff. Esp cust service. They are often NOT enabled to do anything other than repeat the issue back and apologise. My beef is not with them.
My beef is with companies making it harder to get in contact. Making the process of a getting a resolution long winded and obtuse. Putting people on a phone line/chat with little authorisation to resolve something.
There has absolutely been a rise of this.
Fallen you are a legend!
I think good customer service has been on the slide for a whilst. And marketing/influence behaviour keeps promising you’ll get more.
When that does not match people get miffed. If you try and voice that it gets censored by using the word Karen. People should be allowed to complain for bad service and practices.
The problem is companies have made it harder to complain and use their employees as a shield and then have the audacity to stick up signs or make little voice recordings - don’t abuse staff.
I am not condoning abusing staff here. I am pointing out that companies have scrimped on staff, service and don’t empower staff to resolve issues. Then society has shut any last route of complaint down.
Are you saying the European ladies are going to Dubai to hook?
Thought provoking Sunday Read
When your virtue signalling you meets your fragile ego you.
Yeh my family treat me like I am a nut job. I only swapped away from google and ask them to think about the orgs they spend their money on for example Amazon.
It’s amazing how many people got on board with Covid conspiracies but questioning where you data goes, who’s using it, what for, no that’s a bit far lol.
Cleaning needs adding to this list. Not just wash dishes The ability so see dirt, make a schedule, etc.
Thanks. This I nice little guide, easy to suss and helps me figure my priorities.
Good read. Thanks.
I know. Cheap crap is a stain.
Milano mepphis was one of the last hurrah of post modern. A decent trend at least. Corporate Memphis is an abomination. It’s like meeting Clint Eastwoods great grandchild who has a mullet, has no option on anything, and works as a real estate agent. It’s not wrong but lack of character and conviction is such a bore.
It looks like primer and the car is unfinished
Smart everything. I’m buying second hand TVs simply so they are not marketing to me as soon as I turn it on.
Terms of design I feel like since postmodern we have had a bastardisation of flat design which was really mostly suited to information design but it got shoved on everything hence the monochrome blandness. On the other side we got a bastardisation of arts and crafts maybe where people tried to digitally replicate traditional methods, we got hand lettering stamping etc. then they swished them together and true design got shoved out the window in favour of ,
how can we grab the users attention, to
how can we hold the viewer captive, to
How can we force the viewer to absorb, to
The how can we annoy the viewer so much they will pay to just read/view in peace.
I am not sure what this design movement will be called
Bamboo sheets are pretty nice. They have weight to them but keep you cool in the summer.
