If Putin had any desire to conquer Switzerland, all I’ll say is good luck. They’re:

• Heavily fortified, with hundreds of bunkers dotting the countryside
• Highly mountainous, which would heavily slow down a ground invasion.
• One of the few states to still practice mandatory military service.
• Pretty lax with gun ownership, to the point where citizens have a statutory duty to bear arms in the event of an invasion.
• A substantial player in the banking sector with many oligarchs using their service. Any freeze they’d put on Russian assets would likely go above and beyond what NATO and the EU managed, just because of how synonymous their banks are with the wealthy. They would probably send the Russian economy into freefall long before they could even get anywhere near Zurich.
• Surrounded from all sides by NATO and EU member states, and would likely have plenty of time to prepare their own forces in the unlikely event that Russia mounts a full-scale invasion and takes over the rest of Europe.

Look at it this way, I paid £3,290 per year in tuition fees to attend university back when I went. The price of tuition has since nearly trebled to over £9k.

If I paid £9k per year for online courses and was denied the student experience of actually attending a university campus (as many teenagers who went to uni during COVID had to), I’d be fucking livid!

Novelty/troll accounts. I’ve seen a lot of them pop up on Reddit over the years. The most infamous one I remember was one called Gradual_****** (yes, the n-word) that would type out ordinary replies that would gradually switch to ebonics.

Reasons that are fine to mention: Last job was temporary, I was made redundant.

Reasons that aren’t fine to mention: I quit due to overwhelming stress, I was fired for capability/gross misconduct reasons (unless it was an unfair dismissal which you successfully challenged in court and have the documentation to back it up.)

Ahoy mainly does documentaries about weapons and how they’re depicted in video games, but he’s also done some retro gaming stuff too.

Rav is one of the few League of Legends content creators I actually like. He doesn’t just lazily regurgitate stream VODs as video guides with clickbaity thumbnails like a lot of creators do. Yes, he uses text-to-speech commentary to narrate his games but his scripts are actually fucking hilarious.

I especially love his dismantling of Paul Joseph Watson’s video about soy boys.
