We’re all going to work until we’re so old that when we retire we don’t get to enjoy what’s left of our lives. Instead we’ll get to experience non-stop health problems, hospital visits, surgeries, daily pill schedules you can’t skip or you die, and general exhaustion.

Literally happening to both my parents exactly like this.

And that’s if you even make it to retirement, which I’ve personally witnessed a few people not do.

Best advice I can give you. Start slacking at work. Not enough to get in trouble or fired. Just a little bit here and there and expand on it when you can at intervals… That’s what I started doing and it makes my life just a little bit better. Why work your fingers to the bone for a shithole country that can’t even give us the things other 1st world countries have? We’re being taken advantage of. So start taking some advantage back.

Doesn’t change that one illegally attempted to overturn an election and the other didn’t. Doesn’t change that one stripped women of a federally protected human right while the other didn’t.

There are so many examples of the parties not being the same that there’s no other way to look at your opinion than as ignorant to the extreme.

A quick perusal of the voting history of both parties destroys this ridiculous opinion.

Growing up in the 80s, Bert and Ernie were the most realistically stable television couple. They argued but loved each other, no question about it.
