Not really. lemmy is not a good place for it I think.

Ok

Nah, why?

global concentration camp
You keep saying that, what does it mean?
it hasn’t worked out very well
Why do you feel that exactly? Do you think we are afraid of something and that’s why we can’t communicate “without filters”?

I don’t see a point in being dramatic about it anymore. I’m doing what I can to make the world a better place but I know full well that’s not nearly enough.
Why even bother getting frustrated over it? The best thing I can do is continue living my life and try to make the best of it; not being oblivious to what’s happening but also not letting myself be dragged down by it.

The fans range from off to barely audible when doing normal things. I have my power plan set to balanced most of the time, though.

It’s pretty good, I don’t really stress it that much though. It stays really rather cool as well, 77°C under load is the highest I’ve ever seen.
Battery life is phenomenal, easily a full day of work. I’ve got the 3K screen, too, with is beautiful but I imagine the battery life is even better with the regular display.
Ey, it’s the AMD version of my ThinkPad

Build myself a new life in Australia, get a motorbike and do lots of road trips, and maybe start a family.

Used Surface Pro 8 maybe. No repair ability but decent value for money
Very versatile word in Straya and NZ

That’s even better then. I just used an Opal card, I’m sure my credit card would’ve worked fine but I tend to be extra cautious when It comes to things like that, plus it’s a nice souvenir

When I was in Australia, a bunch of people asked me about the public transport here and all of them were baffled when I told them how shit it was…
I have no idea where this perception that everything must be perfect in Germany or Europe came from but it is sooo outdated.
Speaking of tickets; in NSW you just tap your Opal card when entering/leaving train stations. It makes so much more sense and is so much easier.

I know that people in English speaking countries tend to like German accents, can’t really imagine why, though. I’m trying my best to lose the thing lol
Over here in Germany people seem to like British accents I guess. God forbid you’ve got an eastern European or even just an east German accent, though, there’s a ton of people with prejudice against that.

You could show Musky what it’s really like to live on Mars
Those things aren’t nearly as cool, though (IMO)
ThinkPad W701DS. Depending on configuration it has an intergrated Wacom digitiser w/ pen, a built-in Pantone colorimeter, two RAIDed hard drives and of course the glorious second screen that pops out.

Funnily enough, I had a burger with pineapple on it when I was in Australia. It was great, I really liked the juiciness and taste the pineapple brought to the burger.
Granted, it was at an Oporto (which is kinda like upscale McDonald’s with a Portuguese theme to it for the uninitiated), but it was pretty good nonetheless; I’d have it again.

Nice! I lived near Ravensburg for a while a couple of years ago; nice region and they still get heaps of snow in winter so it’s infinitely better than where I live in BW…
I’m just gonna say Rainbow Cliffs from the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger OST, just because it has been my ringtone for a few years now and I still can’t get enough of it.
Runner up is probably The Reverse Will from the Silent Hill 2 OST (original, not remake)
