Nerd, programmer, writer. I like making things!
In python I put my base models in models/__init__.py
. The bases have things for managing data behind the scenes, adding common utility methods, etc. If I’m using another library or method to serialize data I’d put it in a separate utility script somewhere, it’s probably going to be useful to more than just data models and it’s easy enough to import.
Then each file that defines models has a from models import BaseModel
or whatever else is needed, keeping each file relatively short and focused to what it needs to do.
If you’re into game dev or retro games in general, Dev Game Club is a small podcast where the hosts play old games and discuss their design + influence on games that would come later. I don’t think they even have a patreon lol

We try to clean ours every time and got a few little boat things to keep the mess down. Looks brand new half a year later

If the pod was bought by Wondery or the like, they’d be responsible
I had to set up a few of my subscriptions to skip the first and last 30s because of this, it’s very annoying!
Yes, podcasts have had dynamic ads since 2013. The provider inserts them when you download
This is how I have it set up in pocketcasts as well, it’s a nice setup!
What ads? I haven’t noticed any and I use it every day, their faq says
Pocket Casts does not insert ads into episodes.
Pocket Casts is mozilla public license btw
