Super disturbing… but exactly what was expected. I guess phase 2 is happening quicker than anticipated. Just deport anyone they want is where we are already. I can only hope this goes his way. Otherwise, this is gonna happen way more once they find out they can get away with doing whatever they want.

How traumatizing to be here legally, have a wife and kid coming in a month, and then just taken without the other side saying a word and just treating you like you’re shit. Then, he did not tell her anything or where to find him and then find out he was sent to Louisiana? Probably did this just to torment him more so he can’t even see his family anymore. What sick monsters and it’s crazy none or them can’t see that they are the new nazis… land of the free.

  • The other part, kids are hit with tons of extra fees these days. Nothing is included, everything cost extra, and it adds up. For example I don’t think there is a week that goes by were his school is not asking for donations or setup some dumb event that requires more money. Like pajama day cost $2 if they want to participate… Sports is not only a fee anymore but you have to pay for everything extra and uniforms as well which is funny because they are normally sponsored which i thought meant that business donated the money or uniforms so we didnt have to. Everything is nickle and dimed these days, which also doesn’t help.

Honestly , I wonder how they got 37 and what they are. My guess is that most were really small software updates like you said. With that said, here is the list of the ones that I heard about. Out of the 6 listed, 5 were exclusive to the truck, and it looks like 5 of the 6 were actual recalls.

I’m not sure how people are ok with that, considering the price and how awful the reviews are about how it’s built and drives. For comparison, I have now owned 5 cars in my life and had a total of 3 recalls. The total cost of the 5 cars combined is 26k, and that’s over 25 years. My one and only point is I can’t believe people are willing to throw 90k at a car full of problems when 90k should be buying you a well-built luxury car with peace of mind.

  • What exactly will be impacted? I honestly have no idea what they currently do outside extra funding for states to allow everything to function properly. Also what are the American people benefitting from this exactly? As far as were concerned it’s no change to us, so where is all this money going now, outside the pockets of some rich person? So gut everything and higher our taxes? I’m assuming state taxes will need to go higher to supplement more money for schooling which means even higher taxes again? I’m super thrilled my kids are the perfect age to see exactly the impact this will have on them soon… I wish I could leave so bad.

  • I see both arguments for this as valid. I get that you wanna stay and live your entire life in the place you owned forever. The reality is taxes are needed and will increase forever, which are important to keeping your state functioning (as long as the people in charge are doing a good job and actually using the funds wisely). I wonder what state they are from because I know property tax can be wildly different depending upon that. I’m sure they don’t want to, but there are like 6 states that currently offer no property tax to seniors over 65 and 10 that offer exemptions based on income and age. At the same time it is good to see them complain because maybe they can try to sway the state to also offer the no property tax benefit to seniors as well. Still if he is hurting that much, then it’s probably easier to sell the place and move to another place that will allow him to be better off with less worrying. It’s a valid option even if he doesn’t agree with it.

  • IT Networking in Healthcare. Used to be administration side but recently moved to networking a year ago. Had the same job now for 19 years and it was my first job out of tech school where I worked help desk for the first 5 years. Used to do a lot on the telecom side but now it’s mostly setup firewalls, program switches, and know cloud services to setup virtual networks. I know I am underpaid at 87k, I am being promised a raise soon with hopes of getting to 95-100k but even that is below what I should be around. I may have a new opportunity later this year which looks to be around 110-120k if I can pull it off. I want to move on not only because the pay but also because going 19 years at a place that’s 24/7 with bare minimum holidays takes its toll on you since your basically on call all the time. Outside that the job it’s self is fine and challenging at times.
