  • So far, I have installed Windows 11 on 4 devices that were not allowed due to TPM or CPU, and all have worked fine. I will continue this until it either no longer works correctly, or they finally stop allowing it.

The best one so far is an older Dell precision I have at work from like 2015 with a xeon chip, and they don’t support it. Works great so far, and I even put hyper-v on it with another Windows 11 running for testing purposes. I’m super happy because the company has ran out of money and even though I am up for an upgrade there is no way they are giving me a system this beefy again so I will milk it for as long as I can!

  • It’s not what anyone wants because it offers little more over the base console. Doesn’t mean the base system wasn’t great. I love it, and it was an amazing buy when covid happened and I couldn’t buy PC parts to make my own and even if i could the GPU prices were insane. The only complaint I can make is the controller breaks every year due to stick drift… I have been gaming since the 90s and it’s the first time I have ever seen this issue.

  • I’ve had the same HP printer since around 2016? Don’t use it much, but it comes in handy when it’s needed. First time I ran out of ink I shopped around for the best deal and ended up with some other ink brand. Dumb me decided to update the printer when I got the ink. Boom it denied me the ability to use it now… it took me a few hours of trying to find exactly how to downgrade the firmware back to a previous version so I can use the dam ink I brought! I was thrilled when that worked. I then set it’s IP to static and removed the gateway. Now, no matter what it can’t reach home and know it needs an update at all. I almost can’t wait till the day this stops working so I can invest my money into whatever few brands that don’t screw you.

  • Super Furry Animals - Radiator

Been my favorite since mid 00’s. As someone from the US, they were never very big here, and I get tons of looks from people if I tell them this. They were pretty successful overseas from the looks of the concerts. I didn’t mind. Whenever they toured here, I got to see them in super small venues, which was great. Sadly, they haven’t put out an album in over 15 years and doubt they will. They all have side projects and kind of moved on but never officially broke up. I can only hope they will return one day. Side projects are really good as well, thankfully.

  • I will try out graphics mode just to see, then immediately jump to performance mode because who doesn’t want the smoothest experience possible? 60fps is incredible. I can’t see buying the pro at that price unless there is some super trade in event (even then probably not due to mine having a disc drive) but I will say it would be great to have the best settings of the game possible while still maintaining 4k or checkerboard 4k at 60fps. It’s always a shame having to decide.

  • I know it’s not the same, but my generation of discovering them was early 2000’s and they had a huge impact on what I liked after that. I saw them tour 3 years in a row when it was Warren Haynes and Derick Trucks filling in and is still some of the best live shows I’ve ever seen and I have gone to a decent amount in my life.

As I am winding down and getting older, my music discovery and time spent listening to new music has slowed. Due to this I feel like I have even more respect for Allmen Brothers now and hold them even higher on my list of favorite bands that ever existed.

  • The free one was the first game my kid was able to pick up and learn how to play games on. He was 4 at the time, and it was such a simple game that he was able to figure out the controls enough to play. He is almost 8 now and told him this was coming last week, and he was super excited. As much as I wanted him to enjoy video games, he really doesn’t play or care about too many, so it will be cool to see him enjoy it

  • The free one bundled with PS5’s was incredible. It was short and to the point. Fast-paced and full of a variety of beautiful environments. Not overwhelming with any extra content or tons of moves. There are tons of fun easter eggs while also showing you the entire history of every Sony product that ever existed. From the looks of it, this will just expand upon that which is perfect. It was a glorified demo that showed off every new feature the controller had.
