One correction, you can use Airdrop on a Mac without an AppleID. I currently have a Mac for work where I’m not allowed to use an AppleID, but can still use Airdrop. Also Airdrop uses both Bluetooth and a direct WIFI connection.

I like to add Ahoy. He uploads maybe twice a year, but eeveeytime it’s golden. He mainly focuses on videogame history.
Another is the Extra History channel short history videos with nice animations. They are a spinoff of Extra Credits that focuses on the gaming industry.
I’d also like to add Fearless & Far it’s more travelvlog like, but the guy visits all kinds of remote places and people, which makes it really interesting to watch.
Plausible, heavy setting - Discworld 🤔
Regarding the first, have you tried the Robin Hobb books?
I don’t know many that are similar to discworld though. Maybe Good Omens by Sir Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaimen

It definitely needs a party hat 🥳
That’s why I love my Sony Linkbuds. They are physically open, so I hear my surroundings just fine while listening to music/watching a video.
Dutch has the word “venster” which also means window, however the word “raam” is more commonly used.
Bonus fact: a window sill is a vensterbank (literally window bench/couch)
Yeah, I only wish the UI wasn’t so iOS like, since I’m using Android. But hey, you can’t have them all :)
On mobile you can use wefwef.app
Wow, that second one really takes the cake. The self-centredness to just go with the I don’t care, so nobody should is really appalling.
This is dependent on where you live though. In the Netherlands most utilities are buried under ground and enter buildings subterranean.
