Anyone on here who shouts for civil war or revolution has never watched 2 dozen Apache helicopters approaching them ready to go. Normal, untrained, unequipped citizens stand no chance. It’s either going to be a bloody resistance, think northern Ireland, or guerilla war, think Vietnam.

Or, any coup against the US gov would need to get the military aligned against current structures… That also leads to a military controlled gov…think burma.

Never go to the magic kingdom. Went last year… The crowds were crazy, you MUST sign up and use their fast pass phone app to get on any rides if you’re lucky… Waiting in line without it takes 2 hours per ride. I got on 4 rides because of this, and was outright denied from getting on popular rides…fast pass app users only. And there are only so many fast pass slots… People literally walked around hitting refreshing their phone all day hoping for a slot to open

So property tax I am ok with, in theory. The people with property in a city should pay for services like fire, schools, police, road maintenance… What gets me is when the city wants more and more for stupid shit like iPads for all students… Every 3 years due to forced upgrades or just old style deprecation over 3 years.

The amount my taxes go up each year is more than any raise I get. Then add on insurance which has gone insane. I paid off my house to avoid a 20k female flood insurance bill because a 1 foot piece of concrete touched a high risk flood zone. A technicality because if I took down a screen patio, then I wouldn’t have to pay.

It’s insane how expensive owning a house has become

Omg, this. I left my phone at home by accident and quickly found out that I could not pay a meter on the area I went to … You had to download an app to pay or use you phone to register a phone number and manually enter a plate and credit card.

No phone…meant no parking.

Good luck too if your phone happens to run out of battery.
