Any news about updating LemmyWorld server to 0.19 ?
Even though they are closed and conversation has been locked links to GitHub issues for those interested : Issue #19553 and Issue #19554
You can also set for each podcasts a skip intro and outro time.
Agree with all suggestions. I didn’t see any image viewer so my recommendation for that is to use Aves.
Sadly, I don’t think so. Searching about that I found out they switched to GTK3 interface being default just before GTK4 was released… And making the switch from GTK2 took a long time.
I admit for the very limited things I do and only occasionally I use Paint.net
Still in my mind Gimp is much more powerful?
Mind you that Firefox will adjust it to be able to fully support ad blocker.
Hope there will be movement from some governments to forbid having no choice about store for apps. I don’t know about iPhone but is there really no other way but apple store to install app? Apart from jailbreaking? If so I am concerned nothing has / is already been done about forcing their stores on users.
Maybe there is something I don’t understand but is it possible to install and use macOS safari version on iOS? I don’t understand how it can be a good / serious argument from Apple ???
I would think to be compliant with regulation you should effectively be able to install an alternative on your device? Which I believe is possible since there is a firefox on iOS. Even though as far as I know all browser on iOS are powered by the same underlying engine.
With recent beta, besides creating a custom collection, you can now install directly from extensions pages. You may have to toggle desktop to make it works.
Fully agree. Instead of having a bot posting articles there should be a sticked thread or a wiki to list interesting sources and their RSS. User could add them to their RSS client if they want. When they have a reaction then they could share on Lemmy and comment it.
It may be available but there is no more development and GitHub repo has been archived in 2021. I believe it was because you could do what uMatrix does with ublock but I can’t find Gorhill statement from back then.
I switched recently to Microsoft alternative Microsoft Start and found it better than Google News.
As far as I know there is no limit on the number of devices you can sync. So yes it is possible to sync a folder on multiple devices and not only 2.
All latest commits are mainly translation updates. If you ignore those it feels like there is no more commits. Or I am not looking where I should?
