I really need to archive my emails more often to prevent my inbox from becoming a cluttered mess. Do you use labels?

Thanks for sharing! I like your labels! Yesterday I realised that if you archive your emails they are removed from the folders they were originally organised into, and here I was making folders for literally everything. Time to reorganise and utilise labels more. :)
I use Actual. How it works is very similar to YNAB (you budget the money you currently have) but it’s open source and privacy focused. I started using it a few months ago and I really like it so far!
6 hours and 23 minutes. On my phone, that is. I spent a couple of hours (probably around 4 to 5?) at my PC earlier today as well.
Oh I remember this game!!! I absolutely loved it. I played it in Dutch.
Toilet paper 🧻 Very, very useful.
People still play the old version of Runescape? Wow I wasn’t aware of this.
Everything. I remember I wanted to watch some specific showcases and I completely forgot what it was. XD
I agree! And I love all the accessibility options. There are so many ways to customise it. The songs are good as well!
It’s not just spinning and lining up the notes, but it’s pressing (different kinds of) buttons as well. I find it pretty difficult compared to some similar games but that means it’s all the more rewarding to find myself getting better at it. There are a lot of accessibility options as well so you can customise it the way you want.
Oh really? I wasn’t aware they (some of them) were the same devs! That’s pretty cool. It seems the community of the game is pretty small but pretty active for its size. I really like that the game is still being updated and everything. It’s such a fun game!
Yeah spinsha.re has tons of great songs!
Here’s the link to the Steam page. :)
Meds. Everyone reacts to different meds differently so not all ADHD meds have the same (positive) effect for everyone. For me, Concerta works super well, but it might be something else for others.
Aside from meds, a routine works wonders. A routine with all of the day to day activities happening in the same order at roughly the same time (such as taking meds, doing the dishes, cooking, walking and feeding the dog, going to bed/getting up in the morning, etc). Or on the same day every week (such as cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc). If I need to add something to my routine it takes some time to adjust, so I preferably only add one thing at a time and other activities within my routine may get a bit chaotic for a while but as long as I stick to it it’ll eventually become part of my routine.
The only downside to this is: if anything is different from my usual routine (it could be something as simple as the order of activities changing) it might mess up the routine for the rest of the day…
I don’t think it’s the size but more the number of communities and how active they are. So if there are more people here it hopefully means there will be more active users as well. And perhaps more niche communities.
Thanks very much for the explanation. I ended up having to uninstall the app first (instead of updating the current one, which normally works) then I installed the version you recommended and restored my backup. That seemed to do the trick!
I prefer Lemmy, but unfortunately it is missing a lot of the communities I liked on Reddit, and there doesn’t seem to be as much content. When I’m looking for information on a specific topic I’ll still check out Reddit but I haven’t logged in since the Reddit drama and don’t plan to. I do hope Lemmy gets bigger, though.
I mean, I suppose you could. It just wouldn’t be as comfy and you might get some strange looks from other people here and there. XD
I love the spring and summer. I have fibromyalgia and the pain and fatigue is much better during the warmer months. I like the sunny weather as it cheers me up. The people outside make me feel like I’m on a holiday even when I’m not. It’s the time of the year I feel the most motivated to do anything and I actually have the energy to do it.
Aside from that, the summer heat doesn’t bother me that much. It’s much better than the freezing cold for me. Unless it’s almost 40°C, but I don’t think anyone likes these high temperatures.
I agree with you about the mosquitoes, though.
This is actually one of the things I found out after setting up a bunch of folders so I’m thinking about removing the folders altogether and stick to using labels, as others have suggested as well.
Initially it didn’t make sense to me to not use folders but I didn’t realise that once the emails are archived they’re no longer stored in that folder anyway.
So if I understand it correctly the folders are only really useful for sorting incoming unread emails. And I indeed found myself checking every single folder for emails which was more work than if I had not used those folders in the first place.
