this is dependent on the model. Like for example the s20 snapdragon US branch is unable to be unlocked period consumer side, you used to be able to pay someone to exploit it for you but that was patched out.
Just your normal everyday casual software dev. Nothing to see here.
People can share differing opinions without immediately being on the reverse side. Avoid looking at things as black and white. You can like both waffles and pancakes, just like you can hate both waffles and pancakes.

The way privacy cards work are very similar to when you close a bank account where The account still exists for a certain amount of time afterwards It just can’t be charged too further, so refunds or canceling of previous ones will work fine. However, charging new stuff to the card will not.

I second this, just be sure to backup your settings if you upgrade, it likes to forget things on upgrades I’ve noticed.

That’s the end user.

ok, I feel password lock would be more secure in this case then since its harder to brute force. For some that might be worth the more of a hassle unlocking
password in this case, would it be the phones password, or a encryption key that uses the phones password for decryption?
if it’s the phones password, I assume if a password unlock was configured instead of a passcode, it would be significantly harder to brute force.

I can’t say I blame them tbh I think I would do the same
it didn’t used to be that way, then steam just…stopped actually caring about the quality of reviews and forums.
Then they added the award system and its been downhill since.

You opened a completed project. There’s your first problem there. Status/Ticket closed = not my problem.

ok that makes more sense, thank you

I’ve read this four times now and I can’t comprehend what they’re talking about.
So is this going to lower or raise the price? Because it sounds like they’re advocating torwards being against low prices? I don’t understand
Now that I’ve read it a second time, it sounds like they’re trying to keep the price low and it backfired because now it sounds like they’ve lost market share which is causing the price to recoil downward again?

I fully agree with this. There is no reason except for hive minding to have scores enabled by default.

Ontario had the right idea imo, embargo US goods and then push through the struggles. Sadly it seems they were the only one willing to play hard ball. Everyone else folded like a deck of cards.

I used to until they started getting naggy over email and started guilt trippy on their donation messages.

I’ve used two headsets that done it, the Arctis Pro Wireless and turtle beach stealth pro, I highly recommend the Arctis Pro wireless over the turtle beach though as the Arctis Pro wireless was a seemless swap, where the turtle beach has a 10-15 second delay swapping battery.

my headset does this, I’m spoiled by it and I’ll never go back. I’m fully ok with putting up with some of the issues with the headset exclusively cause of this feature. It’s so nice

honestly agreed, I don’t mind the fast charging, but I would love removable batteries. Even if it meant shorter life spans. like I used to be able to pay 20-30$ on a battery and replace it, but now you need adhesive and a heat gun

ChilledChaos on Twitch/YouTube, he plays variety games and I love the social deception games most. His friend group is also really cool so I watch a few of them as well.
I think everyone’s basically hit my complaints with Ubuntu. It’s a very bloated OS with a hard dedication into snaps, which I dislike(but I also hate flatpak so yea)
Being said if this is your first Linux distribution, you can’t go wrong with Ubuntu. It’s a very beginner-friendly distro. The only other one that I would have recommended aside from that would have probably been Mint. But Ubuntu is going to have quite a bit more tutorials and guides for it.
