I watched Last Action Hero a few years ago for the first time, and it honestly didn’t even feel that dated. It held up!

Easy, don’t make rules banning the subjects people want to talk about. Are we so concerned about people’s thumbs we can ask them to just scroll past content that doesn’t interest them but suits the theme of the community?

Yeah, always an option. I mean it won’t alleviate any of the world’s problems but if you like chaos and death by America’s hands it’s an option counties can take.

We do and we dont. Almost 350 million people have differences of opinion quite frequently. Thankfully most of the world thinks our positives outweighs our negatives.

Either that or they are too weak to stop us in any meaningful way. We’ve seen how many genocides over the past few years from superpowers and no one does anything? Only way you’ll see a real check on America or China’s power is through a world War which everyone rightfully wants to avoid.

America often acts it’s own self interests which are going to run counter to the world sometimes. But if I am chosing between voting to benefit my fellow Americans or some other country… it’s gonna be America. I expect and witness the same from every other country as well.

Many times these things are licensed in bundles (especially likely if they all showed up on the service at the same time) and they may not have been able to repurchase the license. It wouldn’t surprise me if alot of that content is in flux with all the creators/businesses being killed/destroyed.

Is it possible they just decided to nix all that content during the moment in history it’s most likely to be viewed outside of its previously very small audience? Sure. It just feels like there’s probably something else going on here.

There are lots of articles where I go “I don’t give a shit.” And I keep it to myself and scroll on. This one makes me actually ask “Who gives a shit?” In a legitimately curious capacity.

Like of all the low stakes, nothing burger, things to ban or get concerned about being banned. It’s just too weird for my comprehension.

I’ve seen enough of his content to know he’s usually pretty quick to shut down talk just like what he got in trouble for so I don’t know what got into him that day.

As i got older, I cared more. I uses to listen politely, then I started to look forward to hearing about my friends and family lives. Now I’m one of those guys who calls to ask for updates. 😆

So what’re they gonna do about it?

The more well known something is, the more criticism it will receive. Also with movie prices going up and Disney reminding everyone each year how little they care about fans, it’s not a surprise people have cooled on their decade old properties.

They are also spending more to make objectively less exciting projects. When the first Avengers movies were coming out it was impressive how well they brought comics to life. It’s not impressive any more with so many examples, so they aren’t pushing the bounds of expectations anymore. They have to wow people now with writing and performances.

I think the decision makers are also making more diversity choices (in the wrong way) and have the PR teams talk too much about how proud they are of their DEI choices instead of how they like the movie they made.

Black Nick Fury is best Nick Fury. Black Panther was incredibly well received. I felt like Moonknoght was better received than I was expecting. Miles Morales was a very popular Spiderman iteration. So I don’t think it’s just racism.

They just need to acknowledge who’s actually buying tickets. It sometimes feels like the same complaints people make about the WNBA not making a bunch of money.

I mean, stadiums don’t stay permanent shelters. We use temporary housing pretty often for emergencies, but I could see it turning into “sanctuary city” like structure as well.

As long as it’s a temporary stop for the people in it, I think it’s ok. It should be safe and comfortable, but also not their best housing option. I would like to see the bottom floor permanently converted into satellite offices for social services as well to better serve these groups, with the goal of getting them the assistance to leave the structure ASAP.

I feel it would be ideal for temporary shelters though. Larger public restrooms. Offices and cubicle partitions likely left over. Climate controls and often small kitchens.

Literally no one but advertisers like ads. Anything that leads to more ads being shown is a negative to your community. Some might understand the need to make money, but that doesn’t make anyone like ads.

I rate it 1 star if it asks before I could possibly have even used it.

It would have to be a truly miraculous app that transforms my life for me to change a review.

If it asks after the 20th or so use, then it gets 5 stars because I obviously open it a bunch and regardless of my feelings, it’s obviously useful to me.

Bank and medical apps get an automatic 1 star because I don’t get a choice in using them and I want them always improving.
