What a messy session. I’m expecting a very difficult rest of the weekend for Lawson.
I’m not surprised about them keeping both in the end, but I’m a bit surprised how early it was announced. I would’ve expected them to explore possible options a bit longer, especially from the point of view of pairing Hülkenberg with a young driver. Seems like they prefer to stick with the safe choice.
My understanding is that their race pace looked quite good in the practices.
That’s a possibility indeed that something would happen at the start. But in a clean race,
I can’t see Lewis or anyone else matching Max’s pace.
Excited to see what the Alfa Romeos can do. The victory will easily go to Max though I think.

Magnussen seemed great next to Schumacher, but Hülkenberg has made him seem underwhelming, especially considering the time Nico had spent outside of Formula 1. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to replace Magnussen.
