The point of code is to be read by other humans, not just computers.
The joke was that Perl is a clusterfuck
Because of all the garbage
You know, the stuff in @_
That’s not quite the argument you might think it is
AI provides a perfect solution to this burden.
LOL. AI is already used by “providers” to kill off expensive clients. Adding slop to the mix will make everything worse. Fuck all the way off.
Please. That’s C’s ternary operator. JS is just a pile of garbage cosplaying as a programming language
Oh, you’re one of those round-Earth nutjobs?
What do you mean re: the walls?
SpaceNoodle@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How level is "level" to the naked human eye?12·9 days agoI was defining true level. Squaring with the room is inherently different, and absolutely more important for decor such as wall art. In contrast, hanging drapes to be level to a slanted ceiling can result in a loss of functionality.

So it’s just JS with an even more immature spec

Edit: downvotes? Is my personal experience somehow incorrect?
In a professional environment, I’ve never had remote-only build systems, with the exception of release signing of locked-down compiler licensing. Otherwise, there’s always been a local option.

Hey, that’s my name too
