I used to feel like voting was futile, especially in 2016. I voted and it amounted to nothing. BUT I still voted in 2020. I’m in an echo chamber of my own ‘ideals’ (human rights?) where I see and consume information about youngins voting in droves this upcoming election, and blasting the midterms. Perhaps propaganda?

So sadly, no. I bought a 2001 Apple Studio CRT from Marketplace without knowing it’s common fault. I had it hooked up and playing the Dreamcast for about 24 hours before it crapped out on me.

After that I couldn’t find a CRT that lived up to it, so found an LCD monitor instead.

Lol I actually haven’t fired up Starcraft on it yet, though it waits patiently on my CD tower :)

Damn it it is a Switch. What’s an ODROID Go Ultra??? Sounds kickass

Edit, and yes I think the newest item might be the Switch 😁 not sure when the laptop stand was made I just found it at the Goodwill 👌

Do you say that because you aren’t going to vote and have a uterus? If so, because I just want to try to understand that point of view, why would you not vote?

Maybe young people who are white, male, conservative, and still have a modicum of their basic human rights, let alone control over their own fucking bodies. If you’re unfortunate enough to have a uterus, I’ll be downright shocked if you choose not to vote.

So far my experience on Lemmy.world is more hostile than I was expecting. Very quick to downvote and troll here. Hoping I’ve only just had the misfortune of finding a lot of bad eggs quickly???

I used to use Twit before the Nazi jerk off came along. I used it to follow individual game makers as they made progress on their games, creative writers tweeting out little stories, and amazing artists I would find there.

I was definitely a Twitter Nerd before it became tainted.
