Well… yeah, those were both public sector enterprises.

Pretty sure most americans absolutely are aware of US intelligence agencies and the kind of work they do - they’re pretty infamous. At worst, most americans think that its justified for the intelligence agencies to be doing shit like this, which is a fair debate point. But nah, come on, “most americans aren’t aware spies are doing spy shit” hell there’s so many terrible movies glorifying this exact behavior.

Superpowers play bullshit games with their intelligence agencies - this doesn’t seem like particularly novel behavior for either side…

Did anyone else just completely forget this was even a thing? Took me a good couple seconds to remember that it really was last month this all happened. Fucking hell…

AI coding tools are a great way to generate boilerplate, blat out repetitive structures and help with blank page syndrome. None of those mean you can ignore checking what they generate. They fit into the same niche as Stackoverflow - you can yoink all the 3rd party code snippets you want, but it’s going to be some work to get them running well even if you understand what they’re doing, and if you neglect this step hoo boy can it come back to bite you!
What were you even trying to say, though? You may have had a point, but contextless photos of current world leaders very situationally make a point on their own, and this doesn’t seem like it was one of those situations. It just reads as a halfhearted attempt to post bait, because you didn’t explain your intention with posting it.

How long before the EU stops complaining about the Chinese EV boom just to spite trump? I mean christ that one is at least extremely transparent… god this guy is an idiot.

Hobby.

ISO 8601 gang #represent
That it’s a totally fair choice makes it all the better. Vegas-style buffets are a production that really caught on globally (thanks to that marketing) and really are a distinct style. But like, theres fuckall other options for them, nevada is a fucking cultural wasteland (if you ignore those tens of thousands of years of indigenous culture, but who cares about THAT…)
This has reminded me of the Mormon kids at my highschool who’d talk about how “fucked up” and “high” they’d gotten from drinking eight cans of caffeinated soda at once. Adorably edgy, they were.

You can still get usable assets from cad software - I used to be big into mods, and I’d usually start any object models by throwing it together in Inventor then porting it to blender for the texture/UV/rigging/etc part. It’s not super efficient, thats for sure, but if you think better in breps than polygons (like me) it was a good workaround for having to learn new skills…
(Full disclosure that this response is transcribed from my retired civil engineer father, who is the primary source of any information I have on this subject)
Obviously most of the true Khrushchevkas are pretty old, but they were solidly constructed. Not huge, but the layout is pretty reasonable (square plan with living room / kitchen / bath / bed), you can look floor plans up online to get a better idea. The major points where they win over the modern hell that is a 5-over-1 are sound isolation (yeah famously they had no sound proofing, but it’s still a great deal better than what you find in any US stick n’ brick), access (you could pretty easily move a couch up the stairwell), fixtures (this one is both my own subjective opinion and not uniform across all designs, but the ones I have seen were quite nice - decently modern gas appliances (water heater and stove) and branch control radiators (I think this is the wrong term, apologies, I am very tired) as well as in-ceiling lighting fixtures instead of switched outlets - none of the apartments around [where I live in the US] have lighting fixtures outside of the kitchenette and bathroom), and just space (They were, despite being tiny, quite a bit bigger than the rooms I live in now)
Having seen the interiors, Khrushchevkas are way nicer than any 5-over-1 I’ve been in in the US. By a comical degree, really.

I can’t think of an occasion where I’ve been listening to something online and wanted tracks - everything that would benefit from having them, I would prefer to download and run via VLC anyways. I think there just isn’t any demand for the switch, and it would break a lot of legacy tools (like auto-transcription bots) to switch, much as .webp has.
Presumably, because they were paid…
You’re both right, though. Russia is amplifying the toxic masculinity culture, which absolutely started in the pre-internet era.

Borderlands only lost $80 million???
Honestly I think we just… lost interest? The Epstein revelations & Palestine have really been the main topic of national discourse (and nobody here cared about whatever Iran was doing? There was so little political will behind the Iran shit it was pretty impressive.)
