But with net neutrality it’s harder to remove sites like KiwiFarms. Like you can write to the hosts and make a stink but as we’ve seen in this example they can find ways to remain online or they can even conceivably host the site themselves.

But if ISPs can simply restrict access to hateful sites…

I haven’t considered that. Thank you for the context. I suppose the current European system is a bit of a tense stalemate/compromise because there are definitely many organisations around European counties, not to mention the Catholic and Orthodox Church, that are advocating for abortion to be banned.

I really don’t understand why abortion is such a big and weird issue in the US. It’s not like Europe lacks fundies. It also seems very polarized in the US, with some (don’t jump at my throat I said some not all) pro-choice activists insisting on legal on-demand abortion during nearly the whole pregnancy but then on the other side pro-life activists wanting to ban Plan B pills.

Why can’t you just look at how most European countries have done it? On-demand abortion limited to the first trimester (generally) but with a bunch of exceptions for special and edge cases and when the mother’s life is in danger and when the pregnancy is a result of rape or incest. It seems to mostly work for us.

LinkedIn is fine if you just use it as a job board. I got my last two jobs from LinkedIn ads. But using it as a social media will drive you insane.

We must cleanse reality itself from people we don’t like. If someone has so much uttered one problematic world in the course of their lives, they’re a Nazi chud, they must be killed, and their memory damned.

Anything less and you may as well be genociding minorities.
