I replaced reddit with lemmy, and I’m slowly replacing lemmy with other hobbies. I’ve been recording more, started dabbling in warhammer and battletech, and just spending more time with my wife and kid in general. I think it’s been a net positive for me that lemmy doesn’t scratch the same itch reddit used to.

Right on, I’ve found my people haha. I have some of my music on youtube (same name as here). I have more on SoundCloud (also same name as here), but those are generally first pass mixes and don’t sound as good imo. Check it out if you get a chance, I’d love to get some fresh ears on it.

I guess stoner metal (but also occasionally folk metal-ish), but the biggest influences on what I write are the Sword, Mastodon, Sleep, and Black Sabbath. But also sometimes I might make drum n bass or a trap beat, but I don’t usually upload those lol
